How Do I Fix A Computer That Wont Start Because Of An Accidentally Activated Partition?
Hello, I have a new computer and I was playing around with it the other day… I made a 10gb partition and set it to “active” or something like that… now when I start my computer it says “needs boot img” how do i fix this and is it possible to use this issue to make a dual boot?
Removal Of Fake Xp Security Center Virus/malware?
I have a toshiba nb100 with windows xp on it, when i log on to my profile the security center pops up, changes my screen-saver and starts automaticly scanning and claims i have a good 100 odd virus’ trojans etc. i cannot rum cmd, any install file, any programs, all i can do is use start, control panel etc… I put my laptop onto safe mode where these problems do not occur, i’ve looked at forums, threads, everything but nothing has worked so far, i have tried to install windows defender on safe mode but then a window pops up saying that the administrator has declined programs to be installed, i am the admin and have done nothing of the sort. i also tried to install Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware on safe mode but nothing happens. Please could someone help asap as i really need this laptop for travel.
Unfortunatly i cant install anything atall, when i try to install something on safe mode (this is because i can literally do nothing on normal mode) it pops up with a window saying the administrator has restricted policies from installing this program but i am the admin. Please help
