1. Delete any files you don’t need. Clean it up! This includes your browser cache and history. (And if you are using Internet Explorer, STOP using it!)

You should see a huge improvement. Repeat this about once a month. I have seen some people set their PCs to defrag with every boot. DON’T! It’s a complete waste of time and only wears out your hard drive faster.
All of the above are FREE, and should do 90% or more of what you want. If you think you need a better product, I suggest you try the Auslogic upgrade product. It’s a highly reputable company. There are a lot of scammers out there selling junk.
Of course, you should also be running a good anti-virus and anti-malware program.

1. partition the hard drive 80 gb for drive c: and whats left for drive d:
2. i keep drive c: at least 60% free ….reason for this is windows can work more efficient with all the free space
3.regularly run ccleaner, malwarebytes and avast
4. install all programmes to c: and save everything to d:
my photos, my music, my docs etc
5.if i do get a major error i can easily format c: and start again knowing all my data is safe

after all of that… restart your computer and make sure that your fan in the computer is not clogged… the fan can cause serious damage to processors and graphic cards
