You really should install sp 2, you really do need it. If you go to the window web site you can get it. In the mean time try spy-bot, once it give you the clear go to windows update, get sp 2 , after that install windows defender. Then you with have 2 spyware programs, which is good to have.
You should have one virus program and 2-3 spyware programs.

Another SURE way to ward off spyware is to use the “FireFox” browser in place of the spyware MAGNET that is “Internet Explorer”. FireFox makes a world of difference.
