No noise what so ever with my fan on the new 1749, not sure if that was an issue with the older models that they fixed or what.

One question – what about noise? I’ve heard that new dells (1745/1747/1749) have some issues with the fan and it’s management. Is it really loud and annoying? I’m going to buy it…
one the first things i did was delete mcafee and installed norton!
McAfee Crap, love the laptop though
