What To Do If I Accidentally Downloaded A Virus Or Spyware Off Of Limewire?

Posted by admin 4 November, 2009 (17) Comment

OK, I’ve learned my lesson and I won’t do it again. But, here’s what happened when I tried to download a song. First time: After it downloaded, I moved it to my Apple library and clicked on it. Very stupid, because it was too short to be the song and was not the song. I deleted it and then tried to “empty the trash” and the song wasn’t even in the trash bin. Suspicious? Then I tried to download the song from another source. It looked like it was downloading just fine. But, when it completed downloading, it just vanished. ??? I’m not usually this stupid. Is there anything I can do at this point to protect against viruses or spyware? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
