How Does Verizon Yahoo Online Protection Compare With Other Antivirus Protection Software?

Posted by admin 29 December, 2009 (1) Comment

This is what I have installed right now and it keeps finding infected files and deleting them, but I wonder if another program would find the heart of the problem so these files would stop getting infected in the first place. It’s removing the infected files, but doesn’t seem to be removing the virus. It’s called Win32/Relfeer.B The problem is that I’ve switched antivirus programs before and it’s just such a big headache with programs not being able to work together and causing conflicts… Does this program not remove viruses? Is it limited in that respect that it will only detect and remove the infected files? What should I do…

Why Does My Computer Shut Down Every Time I Do A Virus Scan?

Posted by admin 28 December, 2009 (1) Comment

I am currently using AVG 8.0 Free. The scanner goes through about half the files then everything just shuts off (this happens every day). I don’t think I have a virus because not too long ago, on a fluke, the scan went through everything and came up clean. Also, the Microsoft Virus Removal program I ran couldn’t detect anything. I’ve tried changing the settings, running the Anti-virus is Safe Mode and even using Avast! (another Anti-Virus software), but the problem persists. What am I doing wrong? Could it be a RAM capacity issue?

Does This Sound Like Another Way To Give Me A Virus?

Posted by admin 24 December, 2009 (3) Comment

Your computer has a serious Smitfraud infection.
Follow the procedure here:
How to remove VirusProtectPro (Scroll down to “Automated Removal Instructions for VirusProtectPro”):
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t…
“The latest rogue anti-spyware program installed via Zlob infections is VirusProtectPro. VirusProtect Pro is installed via a type of Trojan infection called Zlob Trojans which masquerade as video or audio codecs required to view a movie or listen to a audio file. In reality, though, these Trojans instead install VirusProtectPro as well as other malware on to your computer without permission…”
————————————–…
this is wat the guy posted on my other question to remove virusprotectpro.
it worked but then a popup came up from mcafee that said it was a potencially unwanted program so i deleted it.
but i removed virusprotectpro with it so i think its a good program.

What Does It Mean When A Diagnostic Computer Cannot Read My Car’s Computer When Hooked Up?

Posted by admin 24 December, 2009 (3) Comment

My friend who is a great mechanic tried to read the codes for my car but his device could not read the car’ computer.
I was curious of any old codes on the computer. My engine light is not on but it does test itself and turn off when I start the car. Should I even be worried to fix the connection problem or wait until my check engine light comes on?

Posted by admin 15 December, 2009 (3) Comment

Myself I have never used the software. I know people who use F secure and they are were not happy.
