Computers are very often attacked by more than a few viruses, spyware, trojans and various forms of malware. Do they often come into conflict with one another, making it more difficult for certain viruses or trojans to damage the computer or steal private information?

Okay, i have avast pro, pc tools antispy doctor, threatfire, and pc tools firewall plus running at the same time. i was wondering if these four softwares will make do something to each other badly. Like i have heard that two anivirus’s running at the same time isnt good, but what about these?

Each time I load intertent explore it switches off my Norton phishing protection. Why does it do this and can I override it?
